Hudson spent time on stage or working with the likes of John Prine, Tanya Tucker, and Wynonna Judd just to name a few. She was also worked on The Grand Ol’ Opry. Hudson was even asked to join Randy Travis to sing with him and his band on stage at The Nashville Palace.
Hudson enjoyed success and experience during her time in Nashville before deciding to move to Key West decades ago. Since making Key West her home, Hudson has enjoyed success her as well. She began by singing, writing, and recording with author, entertainer, and Key West legend Shel Silverstein. Hudson continues to plant her roots in Paradise by working with many local legends such as Scott Kirby, Paul Cotton, Caffeine Carl, and Bill Blue. She has even had opportunity to perform with several national names here in Key West including Freebo (Bonnie Raitt band member and talented songwriter), Tommy Two-Tone (‘Jenny, Jenny’ hit performer), and Joe Davis of The Drifters.
A loved and well respected member of the Key West music community, Hudson spends much of her time currently performing on stage as a solo artist, in duos with her boyfriend Lee Venters (a talented drummer, vocalist, and musician as well), or with her latest bigger band project. Hudson recently formed ‘Deb Hudson & The Jellyfish Martini Band’. They can be seen performing often on stage at Virgilio’s.
